Incidently, if you have locked the car, but then want something from the boot, just press the unlock boot button twice and it will disable the alarm, release the boot but keep the doors locked. Then just close the boot and the alarm will reset, no need to press the lock button again. Enter your car and manually lock the door. Insert the key into the ignition and pull it back out.
