I have had compression tests done and all showing good. Had a head inspection done and shows no significant wear. The fix is to have a healthy battery fitted by Ford. The cure is to have an uprated AGM battery fitted. I suspect the stock EFB battery fitted to the mk4 was always under spec for the demand.
